The Name : Black Dove
Some of my fanlists bear music-themed titles, and I couldn't resist with this one.
Black Dove is a Tori Amos song that's reminiscent of Balladbird Lee.
The Gungrave series didn't give a detailed dossier on Lee-- but one can assume that he survives by any means or cost. He lives up to the 'Balladbird' moniker with his subtle grace. And the viewer wonders what really lies beneath his smarmy ways. Lee is quite the 'black dove'.
Current Layout
This layout features two views of Balladbird, an artbook scan [from the GG:Archives artbook] and an anime screencap.
Title fonts used are "Thuphap" and "Megalomaniax KG". Image code fonts [like 04b_24 & Grudblitter ] are from DaFont. Delovely grungy brushes courtesy of Cirratus.
Browser compatibility? Looks lovely in Internet Explorer [IE] and Mozilla Firefox. Nice in others.
Site Tools possibly used/abused:
Photoshop CS, EditPad & Cute FTP. Also a tired-ass *hopes it didn't hear me* Canon scanner. A little creativity, coffee & sympathy for Balladbird helped too.
Screencaps created with InterVideo WinDVD Platinum. A nifty program indeed.
